Today, Jim Datz brings us north of the border to Mattawa, Ontario. Here’s what he says about the place:
“Mattawa was news to me, but I sure liked the shape of the word—and now have more than just a passing fancy with the place. Even a cursory search delivers legendary lumberjacks, First Nations conservationists, canoe brigades, and the first Black mayor in Canada. What’s not to love?”
